**PYP Teacher and Coordinator**

We require an experienced PYP Teacher and Coordinator to join our team. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, knowledgeable, organised and able to develop and lead a progressive curriculum based on the PYP and standards from the UK. As a homeroom teacher the teacher would be responsible for teaching English, mathematics, science and PSPE.
- Have home country educational and teacher qualifications
- Have home country teaching experience
- Have proven experience working and leading in the PYP
- Have a Bachelor’s degree
- Adaptable, flexible, community minded and student centred.
- Knowledge of project based and inquiry learning methodologies
- Experience in international school environments
- First aid qualifications

Experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate is an advantage, however what is more important is the willingness to recognise the diversity that exists in the student body and not to teach from a mono-cultural perspective. We are primarily looking for teachers who will be able to inspire in their students a love for learning.

Teachers are expected to be efficient, professional, good team members and ambassadors for the school. All staff are issued with a job description and will be appraised accordingly.
