Our client is a leading public company specializing in civil engineering construction. They deliver high-quality projects across various sectors.

**Position: Machinery Department Manager**

**Type of hiring: Permanent**
- Manage and oversee the relocation (shipping) of machinery as needed.
- Develop annual plans for the department, including manpower planning, utilization planning, and heavy machinery maintenance.
- Manage and allocate machinery according to the needs of various departments (including the procurement or rental of external machinery).
- Provide consulting to the procurement department on machinery selection and participate in evaluating machinery rental or purchase.
- Manage and generate revenue for the business, such as renting machinery to external parties and providing machinery repair services.
- Provide necessary approvals.
- Oversee and manage the comprehensive repair operations of machinery.
- Develop and implement repair plans, monitor progress, and guide team leaders on repair procedures and approvals.
- Manage and control all expenses associated with machinery repairs.
- Analyze major overhaul repairs.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's knowledge and skills in heavy machinery maintenance. Evaluate team performance and manage departmental and general tasks.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of predictive maintenance activities.
- Develop and propose strategies for implementing effective predictive maintenance practices
- Plan and oversee the renewal of taxes, compulsory insurance, and other relevant insurance for various types of machinery.
- Manage and oversee the registration process with government agencies, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Responsibilities for Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QSHE)
- Collaborate with senior management to analyze the company's context, define strategic direction, and conduct organizational risk assessments.
- Promote continuous improvement of the Q&SHE management system.
- Serve as a Safety Officer, managing and participating in training as required by occupational safety and health laws.
- Participate in training and emergency drills as scheduled by the company.

**Qualifications**:

- ** **Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in mechanical engineering in the construction field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in management
- In-depth expertise in mechanical engineering
- Hands-on experience with machinery
- Knowledge and understanding of machinery and construction
- Knowledge and understanding of specialized equipment such as Launchers
- Knowledge and skills in managing both human and non-human resources
- Knowledge and skills in managing budgets, expenses, and revenue related to machinery
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
