Quant Researcher

**What are the responsibilities of our Quant Researcher?**:
**In this role, you will get to**:

- Research and develop quantitative models and strategies that generate excess returns and meet investment objectives
- Work closely with peers and the CIO to actively monitor and manage deployed trading strategies
- Collaborate with other researchers and software engineers to optimize investment performance
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to improve investment strategies

**Requirements for this role are**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with 2+ years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and model evaluation
- Strong experiment and research design
- Knowledge and understanding of statistical concepts for data science
- Excellent working knowledge of python
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English) and the ability to work effectively in a team-orientated environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines

**Nice to have**:

- Experience carrying out quantitative research on time series data
- Experience building, testing, and live trading quantitative strategies
- Knowledge of Equities/Cryptocurrencies/Macroeconomics
- Experience working with Git, Git flow, and Git best practices
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning
