**Summary**

The Regional Quality Manager for Asia Pacific is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the quality assurance and quality control processes across the manufacturing facilities in the Asia Pacific region. This role involves setting quality standards, developing quality management systems, ensuring compliance with global and local regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

**Responsibilities**
- ** Quality Standards and Compliance**: Establish and maintain high-quality standards that meet international and local regulations. Ensure all manufacturing sites in the Asia Pacific region comply with these standards, along with any relevant industry certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
- **Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation**: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS across the region. Ensure the QMS is effectively integrated into all aspects of manufacturing operations.
- **Team Leadership and Development**: Lead, manage, and develop the regional quality team. Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen as appropriate.
- **Supplier Quality Management**: Work with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure suppliers and third-party vendors meet required quality standards. Conduct supplier audits and assessments as necessary.
- **Customer Feedback and Complaint Resolution**: Establish systems for capturing customer feedback and managing complaints. Ensure timely and effective resolution of quality issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**: Monitor, analyze, and report on quality performance metrics across the region. Provide regular updates to senior management and recommend actions to address any issues.
- **Supporting Operations to Understand and Implement QMS**: Educate and support operations teams across the region to understand the QMS and implement it in a practical, pragmatic way. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and ongoing support mechanisms to ensure the QMS is embedded into daily activities and decision-making processes.

**Education Background and Major**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.

**Required Qualifications**
- Extensive experience in quality management roles, with a significant portion of that experience being in an operational leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, compliance requirements, and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate cultural differences.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in one or more languages spoken within the Asia Pacific region being highly desirable.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Quality management certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO Lead Auditor).
- Previous experience in industry sectors related to construction materials or in industries under stronger regulatory control (e.g., food, pharmaceuticals, chemical).

**Work Environment**
- This position requires frequent travel across the Asia Pacific region to visit company sites, suppliers, and attend regional meetings.
- The role may involve both office work and on-site assessments, requiring adaptability to diverse working environments.
