Job Title: Asst Manager - Product Group Quality Ice Cream SEA and Indonesia

Main Job Purpose:
To achieve continually improving and targeted Quality across Value chain, through rigorous implementation of Quality Program and activities.

Reporting will be to Product Group Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:
The scope of the role is: Southeast Asia Australasia (SEAA) countries and manufacturing sites and 3rd party sites, Innovation projects. Decision support directly impacts supplier qualification, innovation success, consumer safety and quality of UL products in the market place impacting UL reputation and brand equity. Is a key role in management and mitigation of UL Corporate Operational Risk (Design and production of products that meet our environmental, consumer safety and quality standards)
- Achieves set targets through Implementation of SEAA Quality Program and Activities through refreshment specific projects and targets.
- Provides support in Quality management for resolution of Quality issues within innovation teams, manufacturing sites, and material suppliers
- Jointly with Quality Pillar in manufacturing sites works to continually improve quality requirements across supply network
- Identifies gaps and brings in Quality Expert interventions (e.g. HACCP workshops, Training events such as Allergen Management, Hard hygiene audit, etc.) as required.
- Maps best practice in Quality, disseminates and drives adoption and adaption across sites and teams.
- Collects, collates and analyses Quality data across value chain (supplier to consumer) to bring forward insights for improvement.
- Verifies that third party co-makers can meet UL Quality standards by conducting technical capability assessments, intensive care and non-conformance monitoring and providing Quality support for issue resolution
- Supports Procurement and third party Make in driving improvement to correct / eliminate quality issues with materials and packaging suppliers
- Drives on shelf quality assessment (process, results analysis and improvement action planning).
- Continually scan the external environment and bring in best practices in Digital - for example Non Destructive testing, Vision Technology, fit for e-commerce quality.

ESSENTIAL:

- University degree in Foods Science, general or social sciences.
- Strong Data Analytical Skills
- Exposure to Quality, World Class Manufacturing, implementation of Quality on Shelf will be advantage

Experience Required:

- 3- 5 years working experience using data and analytics to solve problems.
- Cross - functional project implementation preferably consumer and customer facing.
- Proven Program and Project Management skills

Travel:

- 10 - 20% of time (on average). Project implementation will drive load.
