**Primary Art Teacher (Academic Year 25/26 starting)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels confident in expressing themselves through a variety of artistic mediums.
- Collaborate with class teachers to integrate art into cross-curricular projects, enhancing students' overall learning experience.
- Guide students in developing artistic techniques, while encouraging personal interpretation and experimentation.
- Organise art exhibitions and showcases, providing students the platform to display and celebrate their work.
- Promote an inclusive approach to art education, ensuring that all students feel seen, valued, and able to contribute.
- Contribute to the school’s culture of learning, well-being, global citizenship, whilst promoting a respectful and caring environment.
- Engage fully with the life of the school, including participating in extra-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- An undergraduate degree in the Arts (or similar).
- Significant experience in teaching Art in Primary settings, ideally within an international school setting.
- Experience of working in a large, multi-form entry school.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to the well-being and safeguarding of students.
