**POSITION OVERVIEW**
**THE SURIN PHUKET**

**LOCATION**
This position is located at our property, in Phuket, Thailand
**THE POSITION**
We are currently seeking for enthusiastic and committed individuals with exceptional communication skills that pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of service and provide creative solutions.
- The EAM is to oversee all hotel operations and day-to-day activities at The Surin Phuket. Your duties will include managing the operation team, evaluating hotel performance, resolving operational glitches and more.
- To excel in this role, you must be approachable and detailed-oriented with exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To assist the General Manager in implementing the hotel strategy, to meet targets for quality of service, productivity, and profitability.
- To plan all operational procedures and ensure that all operational departments are maximizing revenue and profit potential while minimizing costs
- To implement departmental strategies and action plans in accordance with the hotel’s strategic and sales plans
- To participate in preparation of the hotel strategic plan, marketing plan and goals program
- To be responsible for providing innovation and renewal in the hotel’s guest experience, with particular focus on Rooms & F&B.
- To manage quality improvement process in areas of customer service and team member satisfaction
- To operate an efficient and accurate administration process to meet statutory, legal and internal requirements
- To oversee budget preparation for the year
- To analyze the market needs and trends and ensure improvement in productivity across the hotel
- To maintain goodwill, sense of fairness and an open-door policy towards employees
- To ensure emergency procedures are practiced and enforced to provide security and safety for guests and team members.
- To maintain the highest standards of Hygiene & Safety Standards
- To oversee the hotel in absence of General Manager according to given authorization
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Management
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Good computer literate with effective and outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experiences in South East Asia and Thailand appreciated
- Ability to speak European languages is an asset (German, French)
