Thailand Denla British School, Bangkok Full time

In the Pre-Prep and Lower Prep, the Capacity Teacher has responsibility for delivering the curriculum to an assigned class of children in the absence of a Class Teacher. In the Upper Prep and Senior Schools, the Capacity Teacher has the responsibility to supervise an assigned class of children who will complete work set by the Faculty.

The School is currently enrolling students aged 2 - 17 (Pre-Nursery to Year 12) and this year is our first year of Year 13.

Our vision is “to nurture and develop great global leaders” and to provide an inspiring and caring environment in which students develop a lifelong passion for learning and fulfill their unique potential. Our DBS curriculum emphasises the development of knowledge, values and skills and is grounded in the National Curriculum for England whilst also incorporating the best elements of a variety of international curricula. We emphasise the importance of academic rigour, whilst also recognising that learning is not the sole domain of the classroom. Our co-curricular programme of activities is therefore central to each student’s learning journey at DBS. During a regular day at school, for instance, students might find themselves calculating mathematical equations, practising a musical piece by Chopin, and participating in a debating competition. We believe that our enhanced curriculum will cultivate increased engagement, motivation, and enjoyment for students.
