**Professional Expectations**:
The Teacher of Piano (Part-Time) should have the following qualities
- possess at least a bachelor degree;
- will be an experienced and skilled teacher of piano
- will have a full working knowledge of appropriate teaching methodologies and have familiarity with the requirements of ABRSM examination syllabuses;
- will be an accomplished performer in their own right;
- will have a background in teaching individual lessons and advancing their students’ ability;
- will have a flexible approach to working within existing structures;
- will have excellent interpersonal skills ;
- will be internationally minded;
- will be a fully-qualified teacher able to provide two up-to-date professional referees (normally one will be from the current head) and a Police check at Enhanced Level.
