Asia Mass Production covers our Mass Production factories in Thailand, Laos, Philippines, China serving more than 200 million lenses per year worldwide.

The Head of Supply Chain Asia Mass Production ensures achievement of services delivery of lens and molds from MP entities (EMTC/TOTL in Thailand, EMPI/Optodev in the Philippines, SEOCL in China, and ELCL in Laos) to IG entities worldwide while improving working capital with the most optimal inventory level.

The Head of Supply Chain manages directly a team of ~15 people in charge of Inventory & Planning, New flows & Customer relationship and Transformation projects.

He / She also manages functionally the SC manager of the Asia Mass Production factories.

Your day in the AMP team

Leading a regional team based in Bangkok, your main responsibilities will cover the following:
1. Demand & Inventory Control Management
- Lead S&OP for AMP - deliver data as input for budget process
- Monitor key deliverables of monthly MP cycle (sales accuracy, production deviation and inventory evolution) and
- Propose solutions to top management to address challenges and by achieving SC performance indicators
- Secure plants’ capacity to deliver market demands in short & medium horizon by acquiring market insights from different zones’ supply chain, and to participate actively with Industrial Strategy function in establishing the Middle-Term-Plan (PMT) to anticipate future risks & opportunities
- Control inventory level in all plants to reduce working capital while maintain service excellence to customers

2. New flows & Customer Service management
- Ensure good integration of new flows (new products/customers/transfer, new requirement from markets) to minimize service disruption to customers
- Lead production transfers in the region to balance production through all plants, and facilitate its planning to reduce write-off & obsolescence
- Review production strategy for phased-out products, and seek support from related functions to implement industrial actions
- Coordinate the customer service activity of Essilor Asia in the region - order management - and link with regional finance team.

3. Supply Chain Transformation
- Implement/sponsor SC transformation roadmap by encouraging local initiatives to reduce supply lead time, and to increase flexibility of end-to-end, aiming to deliver the right products at the right time
- Strengthen supply chain network across regions from suppliers to customers to share best practices, to develop improvement initiatives which bring mutual benefits, and to promote supply chain transformation among team to prepare for future challenges
- Propose/engage in strategic discussion on supply chain model, which can appropriately address different types of customers’ behaviors/segmentations

4. ALM Support
- Support all entities on SC related topics - organization / processes etc.
- Support AMP entities on MTP and Footprint optimization on key strategic project
