**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing RPG programs, providing timely resolutions and enhancements.
- Design and implement new RPG programs or modifications to existing programs based on business requirements.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the integrity and quality of the developed RPG code.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving system-related issues and incidents.
- Stay updated with the latest RPG programming techniques, tools, and industry trends.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RPG Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and experience in RPG programming language, including RPG IV, RPG Free Format, and embedded SQL.
- Proficiency in using development tools and utilities, such as IBM Rational Developer for i (RDi) and IBM iSeries Navigator.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in RPG programs.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically DB2 on IBM iSeries platform.
- Familiarity with integration techniques, such as web services and APIs, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of other programming languages, such as CL, Java, or COBOL, is a plus.
