Executes against the Medical Affairs plan for Thailand. Provides scientific education and training initiatives across Allergan’s facial aesthetics portfolio. Performs field visits with key physicians and stakeholders, organizing advisory board meetings, facilitating clinical trials, and serving as the medical resource for both external and internal stakeholders.
This position has no connection to commercial sales performance and is a non-promotional role. The primary focus is providing Healthcare Professionals with fair and balanced scientific information.

Business/Commercial/Medical Operations:

- Identify and develop professional relationships with key physicians and health care professionals in Thailand; provide medical and scientific support medical aesthetic initiatives relevant to Allergan’s aesthetic portfolio and other pipeline products.
- Provide guidance and technical support to aesthetic physicians including plastic surgeons, dermatologists, aesthetic physicians and surgeons regarding optimal use of Allergan’s products with regards to anatomy, facial analysis and aesthetics concepts, product knowledge, injection technique, and methodologies for assessing patient outcomes.
- Provide ongoing product/scientific training and support commercial team pertaining to product launches and supporting their responses to customer inquiries and questions.
- Maintain key understanding of competitor products and innovation and trends in medical practice within the aesthetic field, and regularly communicate this information locally to leadership team members as well as to the regional Medical Affairs team.
- By way of assisting in the output of publications, presentations and meetings making sure that key aspects of the safety, efficacy, and quality of life benefits of facial aesthetic products are known to physician, medical community.
- Provide support to Region/Global Study Managers for phase IV and investigator-initiated research studies; provide advice and support to Clinical Development team as needed.
- Provide scientific data support and guidance to cross-functional colleagues as required. (e.g. Regulatory Affairs product registration, marketing material scientific communication support, and sales function queries/training etc.)
- Initiate, plan, and support new product and indication launches within Thailand aesthetic market. Medical related launch activities can include KOL mapping, indication discussions, competitor intelligence, and insight collection etc.
- Support process improvement of company medical systems such as, promotional material review systems, CRMs, and others to ensure seamless functioning of systems to aid with field medical work.
- Education and Experience:

- Successful completion of Master’s degree / PH. D (Health science)/PharmD or MD degree.
- 4-6 years’ experience in clinical medical practice.
- Prior work experience in a pharmaceutical company or business environment preferred.
- Experience with facial aesthetic related treatment preferred.
- Aesthetic surgeon/ physician or Dermatologist preferred.
- Related specialist in Dermatology or experiences in the cosmetic/aesthetic field is preferred.
