Our client manufactures and exports medical gloves, household gloves, and industrial gloves.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading research and development projects for new products from initial lab studies to validation trials and manufacturing transfer.
- Executing assigned R&D, New Product Development (NPD), Product and Process Management (PPM), and Technical Support projects in compliance with Stage-Gate, MAPP, Design and Development
- Controlling requirements, and Lean & Six Sigma methodologies as applicable.
- Providing technical support to manufacturing for resolving technical issues and addressing customer feedback, complaints trends, and potential problems arising from new product development.
- Evaluating new or alternative materials to enhance product quality and performance.
- Performing literature reviews on topics related to new product development, including requirements for quality specifications and necessary test methods.
- Analyzing various quality data using statistical methods to support NPD projects and ensure product quality.
- Studying and developing new methods or modifying existing methods to meet the requirements of R&D activities and project needs.
- Assisting the R&D Director in all areas related to R&D functions and responsibilities, providing support as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's, Master’s degree, or PhD in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferably a minimum of 3 years of experience in latex rubber glove manufacturing or research environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience in glove manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in conducting research, designing experiments, utilizing statistical techniques, conducting technical material searches, and computer literacy.
- Demonstrated creativity and analytical thinking, with the ability to work independently in both laboratory and production settings, particularly in development work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possesses a broad external network of materials and technological contacts, which is advantageous.
