- Work effectively as a team implementing academic, behavioral, and therapeutic services for students in need of intervention.
- Provide staff with coaching and professional development with classroom social-emotional / mental health & behavioral strategies.
- Implement research-based interventions.
- Document interventions provided and provide necessary reports on student progress.
- Engage teachers / admin in the educational process, providing frequent opportunities to discuss student growth and needs.
- Provide consultation to school staff on safety assessments, mental health crises, and accessing social service.
- Participate in regular professional learning communities to enhance practice and increase coherence.
- Attends weekly staff meetings.
- Collaborate with school admin, teachers and the community.
- Implements programs and activities to develop and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment and a positive school climate.
- Makes preliminary evaluation of referred students and requests the services of special services personnel when appropriate.
- Provides individual and group counseling for students.
- Assists teachers to interpret the strengths and needs of individual students.
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form in English and Thai.
- Establish effective organization, community, and public relationship.
- Be responsible for children’s welling and safety and manage their behaviors in a classroom.
- Attends the school training, seminar, activities, and meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- คุณสมบัติ
- Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work required.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in the field of Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
- Good command of both Thai and English.
- Child’s protection and safety training is preferred.
- Be able to maintain creativity and friendliness in inspiring children’s learning and attention.
- Flexible and cooperative with school activities and events.
- Be patient and maintain positive thinking.
- Proficient in using Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
