Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Bangkok, we are seeking a Chef de Cuisine to support our culinary team

**Key Accountabilities**
- Involved in Creating and implementing new Menus with detailed recipes
- Supervise and allocate work to staff according to their knowledge and skill level.
- Make recommendations to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef about the selection, transfer, promotion and dismissal of staff.
- Ability to explain dishes to guests and Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, Line Cook, Apprentice and to create training for all staff involved
- Work closely with the Chief Steward to keep kitchen in hygiene and cleanliness top condition.
- Ability to perform well under pressure without compromising service quality.
- Ensure that the hotel cost control policies and procedures are followed.
- Looking continuously for ways to improve the quality, service meeting or surpassing the standards for performance required.
- Making a significant and continuous effort to increase your professional knowledge, to improve your Job Skills, and to achieve the goals and objectives set by the Executive Chef.

**General requirements**
- Minimum 5 years experience in this role
- Knowledge of international cuisine is preferred
- Secondary or High school education or relevant University Qualifications (e.g. Hospitality Management or Culinary)
- Ability to communicate well in English
