Key Responsibility.
Work closely with Security Architect, Stakeholders and IT team members to ensure that appropriate security guidance is provided to support project delivery.
Input security requirements into the design and implementation of standards, policies, guidelines and appropriate architectural principles to ensure the cyber security goals continue to be met.
Provide risk-based direction in conjunction with IT teams for system enhancements in line with the overall strategy.
Take ownership and ensure Governance, Policy and Procedures to meets Security standards.
Have responsibility for scoping Vulnerability Management activities to identify security weaknesses within technology environments.
Have responsibility for scoping penetration testing activities to identify security weaknesses within environments.
Have responsibility for Application Security assessment to identify security weaknesses within Application.
Collaborate with IT teams for ongoing external and internal audit assessment to ensure the controls are effective and meet regulatory and legal requirements.
Support and educate security best practice for colleague and team.
Other Cyber Security related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications.
A Bachelor's or associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
6+ years of experience in security design, operation or implementation.
IT security certifications may be advantageous.
A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
The ability to interact with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and races.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Broad knowledge of a wide range of Information Technology systems and a deep understanding of the inherent security risks associated with these technologies.
You should have expertise in security measures, monitoring, project tracking and operation best practice.
You must be experienced with Infrastructure like Windows, Linux, Storage, Network and Cloud Platform.
Strong ability to analyze user requirements, make recommendations and implement solution.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressured environment.
Understanding of information security principles and best practice (e.g., ISO27001, PCIDSS, OWASP and GDPR/PDPA).
Ability to present security topics to a non
- technical audience and presenting the business value of security.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and influence teams; and self-motivated.
