Senior Geologist

**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:

- Expertise in all aspects of geological studies from early-stage exploration to development stages to work with geophysicists and other specialists to integrate their findings into the exploration process.
- Good technical knowledge in geological and geochemical techniques to study the subsurface for hydrocarbon exploration, including regional mapping, collecting and analyzing geological samples, and interpreting data to generate new exploration targets and evaluate prospects, risk, resources, maturation, drilling and execution for both oil and gas fields, including ranking and strategic planning for advancing exploration and appraisal programs to full field development projects.
- Be able to effectively communicate their findings and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders, including exploration teams, government agencies, and other technical and non-technical personnel.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong project management skills are also essential for this role.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Geology
- 10+ year relevant experience
