Senior Geologist

PTTEP Services Limited**Job Purpose**:
**Senior Geologist **participates in correlating various kinds of technical data by coordinating with other subsurface dis-ciplines (geophysicists and reservoir engineers) with objectives to create maps and models to analyse reservoir geo-logical distributions characteristics of assigned areas as well as prepare and execute delineation/ development drilling activities with drilling engineers. He/ She also gives advice, QA/QC, and mentoring junior staff in all related geological work.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Ensure geological and petroleum system study integration to get best of resource evaluation and delineation, de-velopment well and platform locations.
- Provide geological and subsurface uncertainty input to field development plan in coordination with reservoir engi-neer and other related parties.
- Evaluate and integrate the data of subsurface (logs, cores, seismic), reservoir and production to perform reservoir characterization analysis and resources assessment to identify new development and infill opportunities in mature fields and support production optimization.
- Perform annual resources and reserve assessment.
- Prepare and execute delineation/ development drilling activities including preparation of delineation, development work program, well proposal, monitoring drilling operations, and post well evaluation to be in line with studies and programs.
- Provide advice, QA/QC, and mentoring junior staff in all related geological work.

**Professional Knowledge & Experiences**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geosciences
- 10+ years of experience in E&P Business related
- Have very good understanding in GOT petroleum system and familiar with well factory concept and process
- Coaching and mentoring capability
- Good background on subsurface software (Petrel and DSG etc.) and systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good project management skill is required
- Good command of both written and spoken English
