As a People Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our HR department to ensure the smooth operation of our people operations and provide exceptional support to our employees.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing offer letters.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training.
- Address employee concerns or conflicts, conduct investigations, and promote a positive work environment.
- Maintain employee records, update HR databases, and manage employee files.
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration, including processing employee changes and answering employee queries.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Coordinate performance reviews, provide support for performance improvement plans, and track employee performance data.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, wellness programs, and employee recognition events.
- Assist in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, or employee development programs.
- Collect and analyze HR data, prepare HR reports, and contribute to HR metrics and analytics.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an HR or people operations role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
