**Primary French Teacher (Academic Year 25/26 starting)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver engaging French lessons that inspire curiosity, language acquisition, and intercultural understanding.
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere where every student feels confident expressing themselves in French, regardless of their starting point.
- Guide students in developing their French language skills, encouraging personal expression and experimentation with vocabulary and grammar.
- Organise competitions, cultural events and language showcases, providing students with opportunities to celebrate their learning and share their achievements.
- Promote an inclusive approach to language learning, ensuring all students feel seen, valued, and supported in their progress.
- Contribute to the school’s culture of learning, well-being, and global citizenship, while promoting a respectful and caring environment.
- Engage fully with the life of the school, including participating in extra-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- An undergraduate degree in French or Modern Languages (or similar).
- Significant experience in teaching French in Primary settings, ideally within an international school context.
- Experience working in a large, multi-form entry school.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to the well-being and safeguarding of students.
