**Main responsibilities**:
Financial Reporting and Forecasting & Operational Planning:

- Preparing monthly report (i.e. Net Sales, cCM1, market fixed cost, market profit) including collecting and validation data of KPIs to relevant parties. Arrange and organize monthly meetings to inform and review LBM and Sales and Marketing Head. Follow up and report any irregularities and/or questions raised. Ensure acceptance, alignment and timely submission of the required reports. Constantly monitor, improve and automate the data collection and retention processes to achieve timeliness and accuracy.
- Forecast / budget preparation, prepares valid forecast in regularly basis as per required by RBU and be coordinator for operational planning data as scheduled; aligns budget data with local business management(s), finance platform(s) and RBU controllers.
- Monitoring working capital. Coordinates and drives AR management proactively to stay within budget and informs LBM and business managers in case of significant deviations together with suggestions about action items. Ensures proper inventory management (incl. slow moving/expired stock) in close coordination with the SCM managers as well as the RBU.
- Support to implement cost and operational controls and conduct major analysis on Local fixed costs and projects/business expansion for BU to assist in providing data to management for business decision making, enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks. Provide monthly detailed analysis of cost breakdown for all countries within ASEAN
- Accountable for monthly business analysis of actual and forecasted financial performance against prior forecast,
- prior year actuals and budget. Analysis of price, volume and FX impacts. Highlight gaps to management and derive recommendations for countermeasures. Present financial updates during monthly Management Team meetings and conduct monthly spending proposal and review for the upcoming month.
- Lead operational planning (= budget) process across all local functions in line with business unit processes. Submit financial budget for P&L, specific balance sheet items and sales on article level via system as per given timelines. Consolidate budget proposal incl. qualitative background information / justification.
- Constantly improve controlling processes so as to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Be focal point for Business Unit and Functional Unit

Commercial and Operational Controlling:

- Track and support steering of expenses, i.e. selling cost, R&D cost, and manufacturing/tolling cost (if applicable)
- Request for ICTPs of new products, providing relevant information relating to market price and local COGSSupport operational business steering with adequate reports, ad-hoc analyses and recommendations
- Drive Coatings Excellence, operational excellence and country specific cost saving projects
- Be the interface to the local credit management team.
- Support LBM/Marketing/Sales in the design of commercial schemes by providing accurate information and developing comparative models for profit analysis

Strategic Controlling:

- Support financial evaluation as well as development and implementation of strategic projects (e.g. business models, go-to-market approach, make-or-buy decisions, investment decisions, portfolio management)
- Support strategy development.
- Plan, forecast and monitor capital expenditure
- Drive and train mindset of value-based management across the organization

Corporate Governance and Compliance:

- Be a trusted go-to-person and increase awareness around compliance, internal guidelines and processes.
- Support design and/or improvement of internal controls
- Support internal audits and track follow-ups.
- Accountable for contract management.

Collaboration:

- Participate in EC controller meetings and trainings as per nomination by LBM and/or RBU controlling
- Support development of controlling community via sharing of best practices

EHS/Environmental:

- Ensure all activities comply to all IATF16949, ISO14001, EHS rules/ regulations and RC requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related fields (required); Master’s degree in Business Management (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in business controlling
- Advanced finance and accounting skills, proficiency in interpretation and analysis of financial reports.
- Good command in English.
- Good communication skills, team player.
