Job Title : Senior Associate, Database Administration

Employment Type : Regular, Full-time

Set-up : Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite; depending on the project requirements)

Location : Bangkok, Thailand

Schedule : 8:30AM to 5:30 PM Bangkok Standard Time

As Senior Associate, Database Administration, you will manage and administer the physical and technical aspects of database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Installation and maintenance of the database system
- installation of upgrades and patches, performance and capacity monitoring/management, and security compliance.
- Proposal and Implementation enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
- Potential interaction with clients (internal or external) to understand and meet requirements for the delivery of services related to database products.

Within our Database Administration Team at Kyndryl, you'll be a master of managing and administering the backbone of our technological infrastructure. You'll be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long-term success of our business operations.
- Your expertise will be crucial in configuring, installing and maintaining database management systems, ensuring that our systems are always running at peak performance. You'll also be responsible for managing user access, implementing the highest standards of security to protect our valuable data from unauthorized access.
- Within our Database Administration team at Kyndryl, you'll be a master of managing and administering the backbone of our technological infrastructure. You'll be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long-term success of our business operations.

- You'll be a strategic partner, working closely with various teams to coordinate systematic database project plans that align with our organizational goals. Your contributions will not go unnoticed - you'll have the opportunity to propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system, enabling us to deliver world-class services to our customers.

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant degree is a must.
- Requires at least 3 years of relevant experience as a Cloud Database Administrator.
- Prior expertise in AWS Cloud, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
- Prior expertise in Microsoft Windows Server implementation and management.
- Prior impressive experience in public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-premise to cloud.
