Product Sourcing Manager

Seeking a Product Sourcing Manager for one of our global clients, they are the number one in the world in manufacturing patented products, which has seen expediential growth in the last few years. You will be joining a successful team in Bangkok and handling product sourcing, managing pricing activities with suppliers, and cooperating with the sales team, and the factories.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Studying and mastering the regulations and standards of different countries. (disposable, semi-disposable/limited use, chemical, and CE gloves )
- Being familiar with the products in charge, investigating the situation of competitors, and paying attention to the industry trends.
- Tracking the raw material cost trends. (Local and imported nitrile materials, PVC paste)
- Visiting suppliers regularly to understand their advantages and disadvantages and create good cooperation relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiating and managing pricing from suppliers.
- Providing technical support and training to BU.
- Completing the task of developing products according to BU requirements.
- Maintaining the price and supply of existing products and assisting other departments to solve the problems of price, quality, and lead time.
- Maintaining the competitiveness of the existing company's products and continuing to develop new factories.
- Paying attention to the development trend of the industry and recommending new products.
- Consolidating products and suppliers to improve supplier efficiency and cost performance.
- Attending industry functions such as association events and trade shows.
- Completing other tasks assigned by leaders.

**Education Experience Skills**
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of 5-7 years in Procurement or Product Management with an international corporation.
- Fluent (written and oral) in Thai and English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business information, and professional and technical journals.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and marketing materials.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from business colleagues.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be able to travel between 15-25%. May require weekend travel and evenings.
