Avp - Actuarial Valuation

**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**:
To support the production, control, and analysis of IFRS17 valuations, i.e. reporting, forecasting, business planning, regulatory submission, and other company special projects.

**RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Review the business requirements according to the technical requirement of IFRS17 standards.
- Support the implementation of the changes to the end-to-end ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, including development of data, model and IFRS17 reports.
- Responsible for end-to-end reporting process and control for IFRS17 reporting, including data preparation (set up of Prophet model, model points and assumptions) in an auditable manner for IFR17 reporting.
- Support the team lead in managing the IFRS17 actuarial reporting team for the BAU deliverables, reforecasting, annual business planning, and 5-year strategic planning.
- Lead the collaboration with other local and regional teams in IFRS17 reporting
- Analyze and communicate IFRS17 results to local senior management
- Support reconciliation between IFRS17 and other reporting bases. Support audits of IFRS17 reporting

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of life insurance experience
- Experience with actuarial modeling software (Prophet) is a must.
- Prior experience with IFRS17 valuation is a must
- Pursuing actuarial exams from a recognized actuarial body
- Knowledge and experience with actuarial valuation processes (technical and analytical skills)
- Knowledge of statutory regulations, RBC, accounting, and reinsurance

- Able to communicate work processes, progress, and results to manager
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English
