Financial/Management Reporting
- To provide directional support and supervise Shared Service teams (out-sourced party) to ensure completion of financial close by months/quarters/years in compliance to submission deadlines and processes as stipulated by global finance policies and US GAAP/SOX compliance.
- Provide detail variances analysis via submission of bridge and Audit Variances templates as part of closing accountability
- To submit SEC reporting templates quarter/year-end as requested by corporate
- To investigate any intercompany variances and work with all related parties to resolve issues.
- To liaise with Global tax team and appointed tax agents to prepare for the provisional tax computation for annual deferred tax provision review as well as system submission.
- Worked closely with shared services team on inventory aging analysis and provision
- Coordinate quarterly fixed assets impairment analysis to ensure all risks are covered
- Oversight of the Accounts Payable function of the business, this includes:

- work closely with outsourced vendor responsible for AP processing. Including Training / Mentoring / Standard Operating Procedure reviews / preparing tracker documents / Service Level Agreement reviews
- training and support staff in processing of purchase orders
- adhoc processing of purchase orders for business functions are not able to support the purchase order process
- review, update, complete Vendor new and change requests

Statutory submission
- To ensure completion of audit and tax schedules as required by external audit and tax agents for the preparation of audited accounts and tax computation.
- Responding to audit and tax queries
- Complete Bureau of statistics surveys as required

**Requirements**:

- Degree (or equivalent) in finance or accounting, advanced degree a plus
- Accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principal (GAAP)
- At least 10+ years of accounting and administrative experience with the ability to handle full set of financial accounts, including all tax and deferred tax.
- Accountancy Degree
- Member of Chartered Accountancy
- Knowledge on SAP, Hyperion, Essbase and Lucernex (for lease management)
- Ability to correlate business processes and procedures with financial data.
- Ability to identify problem on a pre-emptive mode & formulate feasible solutions.
- Organizational and inter-personal skills exhibiting cross functional capability
- Operational competency.
- Leadership skills. Ability to motivate, coach and facilitate functional meetings.
- Technical knowledge - ERP/SAP environment, Hyperion, Essbase and Lucernex
- Good working knowledge on internal controls, local statutory and SOX complicates.
