Digital Gis

Currently, we are looking for a capable and independent individual for the following position as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work with some autonomy on defined tasks or projects, with limited supervision.
- Be organised and efficient when carrying out tasks in order to meet set deadlines.
- Develop digital and automation tools working closely with project teams to develop and support projects of various sizes within the South East Asia Region which may include:

- Support new or advanced workflows in design teams.
- Enable the creation of 'digital deliverables' for our clients, e.g. custom 3D environments or project/client specific software.
- Maintaining the integrity of databases, software projects and codebases
- Work with senior team members to deliver solutions for our internal and external clients.
- Work directly with internal clients to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Support data entry of GIS database and GIS portal development

**Key Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in one or more of the following skills: programming, data management, developing digital automation solutions, object-oriented programming, geospatial databases and relational databases.
- Degree in Engineering, GIS, Science, Programming, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficiency in three or more of the following languages: C# (or VB.NET), Python, JavaScript, Excel VBA, C, C++, Java, DAX (Power BI)
- Experience using source code management such as Git or similar.
- Good knowledge in ArcGIS Server, FME and Open Source GIS packages;
- Proficient with ESRI GIS product: ArcGIS Desktop and extensions including 3D, Spatial and Network Analyst.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD and Building Information Modelling software (e.g. Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Tekla, Rhino or similar)
- Experience in translating data from CAD and 3D packages to geospatial formats and vice-versa.
- Good communication skills in written and oral English

Special considerations:

- Good working knowledge of at least one industry recognized 3D BIM product
- Experience in Visual Programming languages such as Dynamo, Grasshopper
- Developing skills in technology such as WPF and/or SQL/Database design
- Experience with OpenBIM data formats such as IFC.
- Exposure to visualisation/game engine technologies (e.g. Unity3D)
- Experience using Visual Programming languages such as Dynamo, Grasshopper.
- Frontend technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Familiarity with layout aesthetics, DOM manipulation, and browser testing/debugging
- Experience working in an agile team environment
