Position Overview

Ensure that all laundry services for hotel guests is done as per the standard policies and is met on time. Sorts, processes and finishes guest clothing and employee uniforms to appropriate standards. Retrieves and delivers clothing from guests for processing.

The Role

Deliver reliable, genuinely caring and timely service.
Responsible to pick up and deliver guest laundry with accuracy of guest name, room number, number of pieces and special requirement.
Count and verify each item as per laundry list. Keep record with detail, delivery time and special requirement.
Ensure each guest's laundry be treated with high standard and authentic caring.
Immediately report when found guest's items, recorded and keep in designate location.
Ensure there is no damaged laundry items. Acknowledge to guest immediately when found any damage before starting cleaning process.
Identify the stain found on laundry items and check if it is able to removed. In case it cannot be removed, acknowledge guest immediately before starting cleaning process.
Ensure all laundry items are correctly recorded with detail before sending to laundry contractor.
Receive and check cleaned laundry items from laundry contractor with the list. Ensure all items are delivered in appropriate method.
Ensure cleaned laundry items are not damaged and no stain left.
Responsible for delivering all guest items punctually and in a professional, courteous way.
Be a part of uniform room in sorting, counting, recording, receiving and distributing hotel linen and uniforms.
Maintain a positive and harmonious relationship with the team and other departments.
Attend training requirement and proactively to develop skills.
Comply with hotel policies and regulation.
