**Our client is a global transport and logistics company.**

**Position**: Customs Clearance Coordinator (Sea)

**Location**: Bangkok, Thailand

**Contract Term**: 1 Year Contract (Renewable)

**Working**: 5 Days/Week

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Customs Documentation**: Prepare and process customs documentation for both sea and air shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
- ** Customs Clearance**: Facilitate the clearance of goods through customs by submitting required documents and information, including invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists.
- ** Regulatory Compliance**: Stay up to date with customs laws, regulations, and procedures, and ensure that all shipments adhere to these requirements.
- ** Tariff Classification**: Determine the correct tariff classifications for goods to calculate duties and taxes accurately.
- ** Duty and Tax Calculation**: Calculate and communicate duties, taxes, and other fees payable to customs authorities, providing cost estimates to clients.
- ** Customs Brokerage**: Act as a liaison between clients, customs authorities, and carriers to resolve any customs-related issues or delays that may arise during the clearance process.
- ** Record Keeping**: Maintain organized records of all customs documents, transactions, and communication related to each shipment.
- ** Communication**: Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to provide updates on customs clearance status and address inquiries.
- ** Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve any discrepancies, discrepancies, or issues related to customs documentation and clearance processes.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Suggest process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance customs clearance efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree in related field.
- In-depth understanding of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements for sea shipments.
- Previous experience in a customs clearance role within the logistics / freight forwarding industry, with a proven track record of successful customs clearance.
- Exceptional attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with customs requirements.
- Ability to identify and resolve customs-related issues, including discrepancies and delays, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and their associated documentation simultaneously.
- Familiarity with customs clearance software and tools, as well as proficiency in using standard office software for documentation and record-keeping.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team and coordinate customs clearance efforts with other departments, such as logistics and transportation.
- Good command of English.
