Senior Accountant
Job Summary
The overall mandate of the role is to have full accountability for accounting operation function, and to ensure full compliance with US and all relevant local, statutory and tax requirements.
**Job Description**:
 Facilitate monthly, quarterly and year-end close activities in a timely manner
 Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, Group policies, Local Accounting Standards and Local Tax & Legal requirements.
 Prepare monthly GL reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and research any variances
 Balance intercompany accounts with parent company partners
 Support preparation of local and federal tax filings and deliverables
 Liaise with external and internal auditors
 Manage fixed assets register
 Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
 Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
 Assigned other duties by line manager

**Qualifications**:
 Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
Other Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working experience, including working knowledge of AP, AR, GL & Fixed Assets processes
- Fluent in English, both written and speaking
- Strong analytical ability, independent, hands on and detailed in work
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and business communications skill
- Good team player with ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills in a dynamic and matrix organization
- Knowledge of ORACLE / SAP will be advantageous
- Knowledge of Thai Accounting Standards, and Tax law
- Active, highly responsible with the ability to work under pressure
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
