Data Virtualization Manager

Argyll Scott is helping the client looking for Data Virtualization Manager. This role will responsible to lead a team for data visualization who has experience in managing reporting platforms, including assist in setting up / support governance policies and design data visualization best practices and access controls policies, as well as leading a team of developers on the delivery and support work to meet business data/analytics requirements both globally and across different markets/countries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of dashboards, reports, alerts and other data visualizations. This includes data analysis, data profiling, data visualization development and deployment of data solutions.
- Recommend, execute, and deliver best practices in data management including reports and dashboards development, error handling and notification standards and auditing standards.
- Create and enforce guidelines and governance policies on big data and business intelligence platform.
- Collaborate with IT team members, SMEs, vendors, and internal business stakeholders, to understand data needs, gather requirements and implement data solutions to deliver business goals.
- BAU support for any data issues and change requests, document all investigations, findings, recommendations, and resolutions.
- Conduct Research and Development work on new technologies and identify use cases to ensure staying with the market trend.
- Job requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Up to five years' experience in solution and team lead role.
- Demonstrate visual design skills used to create information-dense and easy-to-understand reports/dashboards.
- Good knowledge in various database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL and columnar).
- Demonstrate experience in Power BI or SAP WebIntelligence development.
- Experience in data modelling and best practices is desired.
- Intermediate skillset in SQL.
- Ability to communicate and present technical information in a clear and unambiguous manner.
- Strong ability to work independently and cooperate with diverse teams in a multiple stakeholder's environment.
- Strong sense of work ownership, high affinity with anything data and a desire for constant improvements.

**Key Qualifications;**
- Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent
- 5++ years' experience in solution and team lead role
- Ability to maintain internal customer relationships across business units and functional
- Be pragmatic and a strong desire to succeed
- Ability to master deal making with internal customer and external vendor
- Perform at eye level with both internal and external customers
