**Accountability**
The cost specialist directs activities of product costing, product manufacturing analysis, and inventory valuation, performs annual standard cost budget, this position provides recommendations, decision making to senior management in support of the achievement of company goals
**About the role**
- Perform month end close activities related to products cost allocation.
- Prepare actual vs budget analysis, prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing cost, inventory, cost of production & cost of goods sold.
- Prepare expenses information for various customer as needed for decision making support.
- Prepares estimate/simulation product cost of new products and proposed.
- Provide end to end process monthly dynamic forecast & analysis
- Lead and manage monthly financial review meeting with management team.
- Provide management report specifying and comparing factors affecting price and profitability of products.
- Seek and support cost improvement opportunities, be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives. Participate on project teams to ensure validation, review and proposed savings are accurately tracked.
- Supported project management by monitoring project costs to provide additional revenue opportunities and proactively detect potential cost overruns.
- Provide annual standard cost budget.
- Ensure internal control are in place.
- Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance /Accounting/Engineer
- Food industry experience
- Hands-on ERP experience preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 solid years of Cost and control in a Manufacturing Environment
- Strong leadership skill and interpersonal skills
- Logical thinking skill
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Must have a strong cost systems background & have excellent analytical skills, understanding of accounting principles
- Extremely strong Excel skills, especially advanced financial modeling, and the ability to use Outlook and Word.
- Excellent communicator, both orally and written (English & Thai)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both within the function and with other members of the factory
- Flexible traveling to factory.
- Valid driving license and owning a car.
- Thai national
