Asean Controller

We are searching for a ASEAN Controller who possesses the leadership skills to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in supporting aggressive growth plans. **THE ROLE**

This role is responsible for leading financial planning and support strategies and actions plans to deliver solid finance and accounting practices together with Regional functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain). The authority of this role is to administer, direct and coordinate finance, budgeting, forecasting and accounting activities to achieve alignment and overall organization's objectives. In addition this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The responsibilities of the role are to provide direction to implement the most effective financial and accounting strategy, drive annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and accounting activities to support efforts to achieve desired Sales and EBITDA. The role shall devise tactical activities to continuously enhance the finance team operational efficiency, ensure compliance and install appropriate financial controls. In addition, it is to support key tasks, including monthly business review aligned with Regional vision and aspirations.

The assigned territories include all associated businesses in South East Asia. This individual is expected to support the existing business from over USD 50m to USD 100m in the next few years.

The ASEAN Controller's specific responsibilities will fall into four primary areas:
**Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)**
- Support the Business Leaders in the preparation of the annual Budget & Strategic Plan, monthly business reviews and implementation and monitoring of Budgetary Controls
- Liaise and manage external auditors and Tax Authorities during audits, annual filing and/or query
- Liaise with the Company's Corporate Secretary to ensure all legal requirements are met

**Accountability #2: Process / Performance**
- Ensure all financial reports are accurate in all material aspects & accounts are maintained with highest integrity at all times
- Oversee annual audit process and ensure Statutory Accounts and other returns are filed in time in accordance with legal requirements
- Monitor working capital investments. Put in place credit control procedures to achieve target DSO Days. Assist Operations in inventory management as needed
- Oversee treasury matters & ensure proper accountability of cash
- Implementation of Internal Controls & Company policies in compliance with SOX and Company's Act.

**Accountability #3: Costing**
- Prepare Annual Costing Budget, Flex budget and Monthly forecasting packages
- Ensure costing calculations, man/machine hrs, through put calculations and Bottleneck costing are accurate
- Own Cost Accounting related to Statutory/Cost Audit/ and Transfer pricing
- Ensure Month end closing work related to plant and costing is completed within required timelines

**Accountability #4: People**
- Manage, develop and retain Finance staff
- Liaise with multiple group of employees and educate them on financial processes and control
