PURPOSE OF THE JOB
System front office on behalf of the Solution in all phases of Contract Execution
Technical interface between the Solution and the Projects with the aim to provide fluidity in the implementation of the delivered System
Key responsibilities:
In relation with system program technical teams and project/tender teams, the SAA:
- Identifies compliancy gaps between customer requirements and reference platform baselines;
- Defines efficient technical solution (QCD) for each gap, promoting a generic approach with a "Kill gap" mindset, and organizing internal Design Reviews with Métier stakeholders;
- Gathers gap quotations at tender stage, recording related evidences from all development stakeholders;
- Consolidates gaps QCD at project stage with program System Engineering Manager / Program Manager for baseline "Scope freeze" milestones and with regular updates of platform gap costing file;
- Provides technical support to project team to anticipate deployment issues and to help project stick to a simple solution of good quality following standard deployment processes defined by platform;
- Monitors that project stays in line with platform roadmap and delivery plan, keeping program System Engineering Manager / Program Manager in the loop for all decisions and meetings that may impact on program baselines.
Optional Roles:
- During pre-tendering phases, presents and defends Alstom solutions to Customers in order to guide Request for Proposals writings. Participate to Questions & Answers sessions proposed by Customers.
- SAA may be appointed Project System Application architect (PrSAA) for a given project, covering part of Project Architect (EN-SA-08) role as specifically defined for that project.
Performance Measurement
- Clear identification of contractual non-compliances and appropriate coverage by program gap developments, project specific deployment & configuration designs and/or or limitation/alternative accepted by customer.
- Up to date gap definition of gap scope and costs in program commitment files.
- Alignment with projects milestones and requirements
- Quality / regularity of technical exchanges between bid/project and program teams
