About the role
This role is responsible for data center infrastructure operations and maintenance at large-scale T3/T4 facilities. You will oversee all critical systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, cooling, monitoring, fire protection, and security, while leading operations teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Fully responsible for data center infrastructure operations and maintenance, including high
- and low-voltage power distribution, UPS systems, diesel generators, precision air conditioning, chillers, cooling towers, BMS/environmental monitoring, fire protection, access control and surveillance, cabinet PDUs, and cabling
- Establish and implement SOP/MOP/EOP, organize daily inspections, preventive maintenance, change management, and spare parts management to ensure compliance with PUE, availability, and safety standards
- 7×24 Emergency Command: Respond to major incidents (P0) within 60 minutes, quickly resolve issues, minimize losses, restore services, conduct post-incident reviews, and deliver RCA reports; ensure SLA compliance
- Manage the operations team (including shift work and outsourced staff), responsible for scheduling, performance, training, safety, compliance, and culture building to reduce staff turnover
- Familiar with Thai construction, electricity, fire safety, labor laws, and BOI/EEC policies; liaising with local power suppliers, fire departments, government agencies, property management, suppliers, customers, and headquarters
- Prepare annual operations and maintenance budgets, manage maintenance contracts, spare parts inventory, and supplier performance, control O&M costs, and continuously optimize PUE
- Establish a risk inventory, rectify potential hazards, conduct disaster recovery drills, and implement accident prevention mechanisms About you
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, HVAC, mechanical and electrical engineering, automation, computer science, or related fields; exceptional candidates with outstanding experience may be considered with an associate degree
- More than 3 years of experience in operations and maintenance of large-scale T3/T4 data center infrastructure
- More than 3 years of team management experience
- Extensive experience managing operations teams of at least 30 people, skilled in shift management, performance evaluation, safety, training, and cross-cultural communication
- Proficient in: 2N power supply, UPS, diesel generators, high and low voltage distribution, ATS/STS, precision air conditioning, chillers, cooling towers, BMS/environmental monitoring, fire protection, access control and surveillance, cabinet PDU/wiring
- Familiar with: T3/T4 standards, Uptime, LEED, ITIL/ISO20000
- Proven track record of successfully handling major power outages or system failures; capable of independently developing RCA and improvement plans
- Fluent in Chinese and English (working language, with no difficulty in reading, writing, or speaking)
- Preference given to candidates with on-site operations or delivery experience at data centers in Thailand or Southeast Asia; familiarity with EEC, Rayong, or Bangkok is preferred
