About the role
Responsible for leading and supervising the overall Facility Management department, encompassing plant utilities, equipment maintenance, occupational health & safety, and environmental systems (including wastewater treatment) to ensure seamless, compliant, and cost-effective factory operations.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and manage a cross-functional facility team across Utility, Maintenance, Safety, and Environment functions
- Oversee manpower planning, shift allocations, and performance evaluations for team members
- Support team expansion and headcount integration according to approved manpower plans
- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance programs for electrical, mechanical, and utility systems to minimize production downtime
- Monitor energy consumption, power distribution, and utility system reliability (HVAC, air compressors, water supply, electrical panels)
- Supervise electricians and mechanics to ensure all repair and installation works adhere to engineering and safety standards
- Direct the Safety function to maintain EHS compliance, risk assessments, and emergency response protocols
- Ensure zero-accident targets by promoting safety awareness, regular workplace audits, and proper PPE compliance
- Supervise environmental management and ensure 24/7 wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) operation across day and night shifts
- Prepare and control the operational and capital expenditure budgets (OPEX/CAPEX) for facility maintenance, utility usage, and spare parts About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 5–8+ years of experience in Facility Management, Utility, or Plant Maintenance within a manufacturing/factory environment
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong expertise in factory utilities, electrical high/low voltage systems, mechanical systems, and HVAC
- Sound understanding of industrial safety laws (OSHA/ISO 45001) and environmental regulations (Wastewater treatment, ISO 14001)
- Proven leadership, crisis management, cross-functional communication, problem-solving, and manpower planning skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
