Maintenance Head

About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems & Plant Maintenance engineer to join our dynamic team at Golcha
- Chemintac Co., Ltd. This is a full-time role based in Rayong, Thailand. In this strategic position, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our mechanical systems and plant facilities.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee the maintenance and operation of crushers (Jaw, Gyratory, Cone), milling & grinding machines (Ball Mills, Raymond Mills, Hammer Mills), classifiers & separators, rotary & flash dryers, conveyors, elevators, and pneumatic transport systems
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of pumps, compressors, fans, and blowers
- Implement predictive & preventive maintenance including vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasonic leak detection, and oil analysis
- Optimize energy efficiency by upgrading to variable frequency drives (VFDs) and energy-efficient motors
- Monitor wear & tear of moving parts (bearings, seals, belts, gears)
- Ensure proper alignment of rotary kilns, ball mills, and drying units to avoid downtime
- Supervise structural integrity assessments of plant buildings
- Oversee HVAC systems, ventilation, and air filtration units to control dust and temperature in processing areas
- Maintain water supply systems, including piping, pumps, and drainage
- Ensure fire safety compliance including fire suppression systems, emergency exits and lighting, and fire-resistant building materials About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, or related position in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, MCC, VFD, control systems, instrumentation, and power distribution systems
- Proficient in using electrical measuring instruments such as Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Insulation Resistance Tester (Megger), Power Analyzer, and other related testing equipment
- Able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Capable of establishing, implementing, and monitoring Preventive Maintenance (PM) systems to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Knowledge of utility systems, including Air Compressors, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Water Systems, HVAC, and other plant utility equipment
- Experience in machine modification, process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction projects
- Able to manage engineering and maintenance projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, contractor coordination, and project follow-up
- Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills
