Position Summary The Junior Game Data Analyst supports the analysis of game performance and player behavior, ensuring data, reports, and basic analyses are accurate, timely, and reliable. This role focuses on execution, learning, and analytical fundamentals, working closely with Senior Game Data Analysts to build strong foundations in game analytics. Mission & Objectives ● Support day-to-day game analytics and reporting operations. ● Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across analytics outputs. ● Develop strong foundations in game metrics, player behavior analysis, and analytical thinking. Scope of Responsibility The Junior Game Data Analyst contributes to: ● Game Performance Reporting & Monitoring ● Basic Player Behavior & Cohort Analysis ● Data Validation & Quality Checks ● Analytics Support for Live Ops & Product Teams ● Continuous Skill Development in Game Analytics

Key Responsibilities
Game Analytics & Reporting ● Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports on gameplay, retention, and monetization metrics. ● Update dashboards and ensure data freshness. ● Monitor key metrics and flag unusual changes or anomalies. Data Validation & Quality Assurance ● Perform routine data accuracy and consistency checks. ● Identify missing, delayed, or inconsistent data and escalate issues promptly. ● Support troubleshooting efforts with Data Platform and Senior Analysts. Player Behavior & Basic Analysis ● Conduct basic analyses such as funnels, cohorts, and trend analysis. ● Support senior analysts in deeper gameplay, retention, and monetization analyses. ● Learn how to interpret player behavior through data. Live Ops & Operational Analytics Support ● Assist in tracking and evaluating live ops events and in-game promotions. ● Prepare post-event reports and summaries. ● Support data preparation for experimentation and A/B testing. Learning & Capability Development ● Learn and apply game analytics frameworks, KPIs, and best practices. ● Receive and apply feedback to improve analytical skills and business understanding. ● Gradually take ownership of small analytical tasks or projects. Key Working Relationships ● Senior Game Data Analysts ● Head of Game Data Analysis ● Game Data Expat / Analytics Advisors (if applicable) ● Data Platform / Engineering ● Game Design, Product & Live Ops Teams (via analytics support) Success Metrics (How Success Is Measured) ● Reports and dashboards are accurate and delivered on time. ● Data issues are identified early and escalated appropriately. ● Demonstrated improvement in analytical skills and game understanding. ● Increasing contribution to meaningful insights over time. ● Positive collaboration with senior analysts and stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience Experience ● 2+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or related roles.
- Game analytics background is MUST have Analytical & Technical Skills ● Basic to intermediate SQL skills. ● Familiarity with spreadsheets and BI tools. ● Understanding of basic analytics concepts (metrics, trends, cohorts). ● Interest in games and player behavior. Soft Skills ● Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. ● Willingness to learn and accept feedback. ● Good communication and teamwork skills. ● Ability to work in fast-paced, live-service environments.
