School Nurse

TSI International School is currently seeking a qualified, caring, and enthusiastic School Nurse to join our team at our Bearing Campus. Our campus is conveniently located near Sukhumvit 76 and is within easy reach of BTS Bearing Station. Due to the continued growth of our school, we are looking for a full-time, permanent School Nurse to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The School Nurse will be primarily based in our Secondary School infirmary, working alongside another full-time nurse. The successful candidate will also provide support in the Primary School infirmary when required. CORE DUTIES:
- Provide appropriate nursing care to students and staff, including administering medication, treatments and procedures in accordance with medical instructions and school policies.
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students, staff and visitors in accordance with established protocols.
- Assess illness and injury and determine appropriate action, including contacting parents/guardians or referring students for further medical care when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date student health records, including medical histories, allergies, medications, immunisation records and treatment information.
- Communicate effectively and sensitively with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, school leaders and other staff to support student health, safety and wellbeing.
- Liaise appropriately with families, healthcare providers, hospitals and relevant external agencies.
- Support the prevention and management of communicable diseases, including monitoring, appropriate control measures and communication with the school community.
- Maintain appropriate supplies, medications and equipment within the school infirmary and ensure that emergency medical equipment is readily available.
- Follow all school policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, child protection, confidentiality, health and safety, and student wellbeing.
- Undertake other reasonable duties related to student health, safety and wellbeing as required. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.
- Current professional nursing licence valid in Thailand.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both Thai and English, verbally and in writing.
- Satisfactory criminal background/police clearance.
- Confirmation of identity and verification of qualifications and previous employment.
- Strong understanding of professional confidentiality and the appropriate handling of sensitive medical information. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Previous professional nursing experience, preferably with children and young people.
- Previous experience in an international school environment.
- Experience working with international colleagues and families.
