Amata City Chonburi Industry: Automotive Parts Manufacturing Function: Process Engineering / New Model ## Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Process Engineering Manager (PE Manager) to lead New Model and New Project development, from initial project planning, process design and engineering preparation through trial production and successful Mass Production launch. The position will be responsible for ensuring that new products, processes, machines, tooling, jigs, and production lines are developed and prepared according to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and customer requirements. ##

Key Responsibilities
- Lead New Model / New Project activities from development stage through Mass Production.
- Develop and control New Model Master Plans, project schedules, milestones, and engineering action plans.
- Review customer requirements, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements for new products.
- Lead Process Design, Process Flow, Line Layout, Production Capacity, Cycle Time, and Manpower Planning.
- Manage preparation and implementation of new machines, equipment, tooling, molds, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and production lines.
- Lead Trial Production / Pilot Run / Run@Rate and ensure production readiness before SOP/Mass Production.
- Prepare and review APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, Work Instructions, PPAP, and other New Model documentation.
- Analyze process capability including Cp/Cpk, productivity, quality, cycle time, and process stability.
- Coordinate New Model activities with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Sales/Marketing, customers, and suppliers.
- Work closely with suppliers for Tooling, Machine, Jig and Equipment development, trial, modification, and acceptance.
- Lead technical problem solving during development and launch using 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA and other problem-solving tools.
- Drive VA/VE, Cost Reduction, Productivity Improvement, Automation, Kaizen and Process Optimization.
- Manage Engineering Change / 4M Change / ECR / ECN related to production processes.
- Monitor New Model investment, CAPEX, tooling/equipment cost, project budget, and implementation timeline.
- Support customer audits, New Model reviews, process audits, and production readiness assessments.
- Lead, coach, and develop Process Engineers and ensure effective project execution.
- Report New Model progress, risks, issues, countermeasures, and project status to management. ## Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, or related Engineering fields.
- 10+ years of experience in Process Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in Automotive Parts Manufacturing.
- Minimum 3–5 years in Manager / Assistant Manager level with team management experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in New Model / New Project development and launch is required.
- Proven experience taking projects from Development → Trial → SOP → Mass Production.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow and IATF 16949.
- Experience in Machine / Jig / Tooling / Equipment / Production Line preparation and installation.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes; experience related to Automotive Control Components, Cable, Stamping, Machining, Die-casting, Forging, Plastic/Rubber or Assembly will be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Process Improvement, Cycle Time Reduction, Productivity, OEE, Kaizen, VA/VE and Cost Reduction.
- Able to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English.
- Experience working with Japanese automotive customers / Tier-1 automotive manufacturers will be an advantage. ## Ideal Candidate Automotive Tier-1 + Process Engineering + New Model Launch + APQP/PPAP + Machine/Jig/Tooling + Mass Production
