BMSP focuses on tailoring security strategies to meet each client’s unique risk profile and operational needs. Team members collaborate with diverse businesses and modern technologies to strengthen security postures and support long-term resilience. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Security Engineer role based in Bangkok City, Thailand. The Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security controls across applications, networks, and systems to safeguard client environments. Daily tasks include assessing security risks, monitoring security tools and alerts, investigating incidents, and supporting remediation activities. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to review architecture, recommend security best practices, and assist in compliance and policy development. The Security Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of security processes, documentation, and automation to enhance overall service quality. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Security Engineering and Cybersecurity, with experience implementing and maintaining security solutions.
• Hands-on skills in Network Security and Information Security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and security monitoring.
• Practical experience in Application Security, such as secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and remediation.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
• Ability to analyze logs, interpret security events, and respond to incidents in a structured, timely manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in a managed services or consulting environment is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are beneficial.
