BMSP focuses on understanding each client’s unique environment to design security strategies that align with their business goals. Role Description The Security Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangkok City, Thailand. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions across applications, networks, and cloud environments. Daily tasks include monitoring security systems, analyzing alerts, investigating incidents, and responding to threats to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of client systems. The Security Engineer collaborates with internal teams and customers to perform risk assessments, recommend security controls, and support ongoing security improvements and compliance initiatives. The role also involves documenting configurations and procedures, preparing technical reports, and contributing to security best practices and standards. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including principles, frameworks, and threat landscapes.
• Hands-on experience with Security Engineering, including design, deployment, and maintenance of security solutions.
• Proficiency in Network Security, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
• Knowledge of Application Security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and common application threats.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, cloud security platforms, and security automation is beneficial.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to stay current with emerging security trends, tools, and regulatory requirements.
