Key Responsibilities:

Project Construction:

  • Manage and drive the construction of the IWTE power plant and SRF plant to meet objectives regarding quality, schedule, budget, safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and government agencies to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical works on-site in line with the project schedule and plant requirements.
  • Implement risk management and monitor quality during erection, finishing, and commissioning phases.

Landfill and SRF Operations:

  • Manage and control the operation of industrial waste landfill and SRF plant.
  • Plan, budget, and monitor annual expenditure for the municipal solid waste landfill.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient landfill operation.

Plant Operation and Maintenance:

  • Establish yearly business plans and budgets aligned with company policies and objectives.
  • Supervise overall plant operations, preventive maintenance, and overhaul procedures to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
  • Analyze production and customer consumption data to evaluate plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure regulatory, contractual, and environmental compliance and reporting.
  • Approve procurement of equipment and maintenance/repair contractors within authority limits.
  • Coordinate plant shutdown activities and communications with relevant parties.
  • Maintain strong relationships with utilities, host customers, contractors, fuel and equipment suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Investigate plant incidents, implement corrective actions, and propose improvement projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in power plant operation and maintenance management, preferably in thermal, renewable, or waste-to-energy sectors.
  • Hands-on experience in construction and commissioning of power plant facilities.
  • Experience in Industrial Waste to Energy (IWTE) or Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) plant operations is a strong advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of plant operations, preventive maintenance, and performance monitoring.
  • Familiar with landfill operations and waste handling processes, particularly related to industrial or hazardous waste.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with proven experience in supervising multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Proficient in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Solid understanding of HSE standards, legal compliance, and ISO management systems
  • Experience in contract and claim management is preferred.
