About the role

STEEL PLUS TRADING (THAILAND) CO., LTD. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team in Bangkok. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Reconciling accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions
  3. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
  4. Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
  5. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. At least 1-2 years of experience in a financial accounting role
  3. Knowledge of Thai tax regulations and statutory filings (e.g., PP30, PP36, PND1, PND3, PND53, SSO submissions, etc.)
  4. Experience preparing withholding tax, VAT, and corporate tax documents
  5. Ability to handle accounting documents and reconciliations
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
  7. Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes
  8. Knowledge of Thai and International Financial Reporting Standards
  9. Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
