About Chromalloy: We are "Manufacturing Operation Repair and Overhaul" aircraft gas turbine engine, HQ in US and our facility in Thailand located in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani.

You can drive only around 30-45 mins from Mega Bang Na or Sukhumvit.

Summary:

Responsible for technical projects planning and execution of NPI (New Product Introduction) to increase the company's component repair capability. This includes process/product development and optimization of process for Aerospace and Industrial gas turbine product's repair capability. Leading project and teams in reverse engineering activities, producing new tooling designs, procure tooling/fixtures, test trial repairs, and validation processes, utilizing Lean tools and methodologies to positively impact the business metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing new products and repairs for gas turbine components including high pressure turbine blades, nozzles, and combustor components.
• Utilize project management skills to lead assigned projects/programs to successful completion considering technical, budgetary, manpower and schedule requirements.
• Apply Lean/ CPEx/6-sigma tools and concepts on product/process subsystems or manufacturing systems
• Optimize the production process, product design using a robust lean problem-solving methodology, with quantifiable impact to business metrics
• Develop KPIs to effectively manage process and product outcomes
• Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to develop component designs and repairs, which meet site, Chromalloy and customer requirements for cost, performance, and durability.
• Engage with the other engineers at the site to collaborate on projects and development of robust solutions impacting site operational and financial performance, utilizing CPEx tools; positively impacting the end customer
• Assist in making technical decisions on product/process design and provide definition to the team to ensure mutual success.
• Owns technical aspects of assigned components and or processes from initial concept through all manufacturing stages.
• Identify, develop, and implement tooling/equipment improvements. Troubleshoot process/production problems and implement actions/solutions, monitor sustainability of actions, and report out results.
• Prepare accurate written technical reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals
• Prepare and deliver presentations of work to all levels of external and internal customers
• Train less experienced technical staff
• Work in manufacturing, lab, and field environments. Occasional travel required.Review project's work scope in terms of technical data, financial data and project planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Aerospace
• 2-7 Years of experience in the aerospace or industrial gas turbine engine mechanical design discipline.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English (TOEIC 800 up)
• Familiar with aerodynamic, performance, and heat transfer disciplines
• Familiar with all aspects of airfoil manufacturing (casting, machining, etc.) and inspections
• Knowledge of gas turbine manufacturing and repair processes, finite element analysis, and 3D CAD modeling
• Knowledge of various measuring techniques including CMM, white-light/laser scanning, gages, etc. and their use in developing designs
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
• Working knowledge of program management tools and skill set

Our facility working hour starting from 7:30 - 17:30 from Monday - Thursday, and 7:30 - 16:30 on Friday.
