Job Responsibilities

  • Lead bank reconciliation across multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead merchant reconciliation, including settlements, payouts, and discrepancy tracking.
  • Manage cost reconciliation between forecasts, actuals, and accruals to maintain cost accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce reconciliation cycles and manual errors.
  • Collaborate with payment gateways, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting or reconciliation roles (preferably in fintech, payments, or startups).
  • Strong technical understanding of reconciliation and reporting principles.
  • Proficient in Excel;
  • Experience with accounting software a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
