About the Role

We are looking for a Manager – Asset Renewal to join our Store Development team. In this role, you will oversee and execute strategies for managing our existing store portfolio. You will be responsible for lease renewals, renovations, expansions, relocations, and closures — all with the goal of driving sustainable growth and ensuring long-term profitability of each unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and re-negotiate leases for existing stores, ensuring continuity of operations and optimal terms.
  • Manage the full lease cycle, including renewals, expansions, relocations, and closures.
  • Collaborate with landlords for agreement signings, extensions, and terminations.
  • Control rent and occupancy costs, ensuring payments remain at competitive and reasonable levels.
  • Anticipate and resolve lease-related issues to protect and enhance store performance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (construction, facilities, operations) to deliver renovations and relocations with minimal impact to business operations.
  • Provide insights and updates on underperforming units, supporting strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in asset renewal, store lease management, or retail property management.
  • Proven experience managing store portfolios including renewals, renovations, expansions, relocations, and closures.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
