Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases for banking and financial applications/systems
  • Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality
  • Identify, analyze, document, track, and verify software defects with clear reproduction steps, and collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure timely and effective issue resolution
  • Lead QA meetings, test walkthroughs, test reviews, defect triage sessions, and status meetings with internal teams and clients
  • Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders regarding testing results, system issues, risks, and proposed solutions
  • Support test automation activities, including reviewing automation scripts and test execution results
  • Analyze test outcomes and prepare QA reports, risk assessments, and quality recommendations
  • Handle ad-hoc problem solving, urgent issues, and production-related concerns when required
  • Ensure compliance with banking and financial system standards, processes, and best practices

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
  • Good command of English (spoken, written, and reading) for client communication and documentation
  • Proven experience in Banking or Financial Systems (e.g., core banking, digital banking, payment systems)
  • Strong hands-on experience in both Manual Testing and Test Automation
  • Ability to read and understand source code to support testing, debugging, and defect analysis
  • Experience in leading QA meetings, coordinating QA activities, and working directly with clients and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
  • Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and basic scripting/programming languages
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-based (outsourcing) environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
