Job brief

We are seeking a
highly experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accounting Manager
to lead the accounting operations with our partner. The role requires mastery of full-set accounting, monthly/yearly closing, Thai GAAP/tax compliance, and experience supervising a team. Stability, maturity, and strong English communication skills are key to success in this cross-functional leadership position.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with
8-10 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally within a Japanese manufacturing environment,
to step into a senior role with a clear path toward becoming a full Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Thai GAAP and company policies.
  • Manage full-set accounting, including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, inventory and cash flow monitoring.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing, and financial statement preparation.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external parties regarding financial and tax matters.
  • Monitor budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with management.
  • Supervise and coach accounting staff, ensure smooth workflow and task delegation.
  • Support process improvement, internal control and system enhancement.
  • Prepare management reports with analysis to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • An academic degree in Accounting and a valid CPD holder.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on, full-set accounting and closing experience, preferably from a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising an accounting team is required.
  • Strong background in full-set accounting and closing activities in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong understanding of Thai accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Confident English communication (written and spoken) is required for cross-functional interaction.
  • Demonstrated stable career history and maturity in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working on-site in Amara City, Chonburi.
