UX/UI Designer

1. User Research & Understanding

2. Understand diverse user groups (students, teachers, parents, admins, enterprise clients) through basic research, user feedback, behavioral data, and usability findings.

3. Analyze user needs and pain points to inform design decisions and product direction.

4. Experience Design

5. Create user flows, journey maps, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that clearly solve user problems.

6. Intuitive design experiences, aligned with business goals, and optimized for the learning context.

7. Evaluate and improve UX based on usability testing results, feedback, or data insights.

8. User Interface Design

9. Produce high-quality UI designs for web and mobile, ensuring clarity, consistency, and visual excellence.

10. Apply brand guidelines and Design System components accurately across features.

11. Ensure designs support accessibility standards, multi-device usage, and multi-language environments.

12. Collaboration & Delivery

13. Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and content/learning teams to deliver features that meet user and business needs.

14. Prepare design specifications and handoff files for development with clarity and completeness.

15. Communicate the design rationale effectively and incorporate feedback constructively.

16. Continuous Improvement

17. Ensure consistency across product interfaces and improve design quality across releases.
    
    Stay up-to-date with UX/UI trends, AI-powered design tools, and emerging technologies relevant to EdTech.

18. Contribute to raising design standards to support the platform's long-term scalability.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in UX/UI Design with a portfolio demonstrating an end-to-end design process.
• Proficiency in Figma (Auto-layout, Components, Variables, Prototyping).
• Solid understanding of UX principles: user flows, IA, usability, iterative design.
• Strong UI skills: layout, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, responsive design.
• Familiarity with Design Systems and developer handoff workflows.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), multi-device and multi-language design.
• Experience with complex platforms or SaaS products (EdTech is a strong plus).
• Openness to using new tools such as AI-assisted design tools to increase efficiency.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions across cross-functional teams.
