Our client is a business that produces dyed yarn, performs dyeing, and finishes industrial yarn. They have branches in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and many other countries. Now they are seeking a Raw Material Planner to joint thier team.

Job Description

  • Review and approve consumption plans based on monthly production schedules, ensuring timely updates of raw material forecasts in the system.
  • Analyze actual demand versus forecasts, collaborating with the commercial team to align supply with demand and prevent excess inventory.
  • Coordinate with Central Planning, procurement, warehouse, and forwarders to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of raw materials.
  • Communicate proactively with relevant departments regarding potential shortages or excesses while maintaining Supply Chain KPIs (OTIF and stock/SLOBs).
  • Manage exceptional stock situations and coordinate execution with production and warehouse teams.
  • Work closely with Procurement, QA, Manufacturing, and warehouse teams to address quality issues and monitor trials of new materials.
  • Oversee stock management, including stock levels and SLOBs tracking in both quantity and value.
  • Submit monthly and yearly stock forecasts and purchasing plans to the Finance team.
  • Analyze gaps between actual stock and forecasted/planned levels, implementing corrective actions to align with approved plans and minimize discrepancies.
  • Monitor monthly SLOBs generation and follow up on action plans to reduce SLOBs value.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process automation by collaborating with the Central Planning team and local departments.
  • Act as the primary contact for Supply Chain information with the Global Master Data team, coordinating master data reviews with the Central team.
  • Perform special supply chain projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in planning/logistics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to present reports in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize own workload.
  • Good in English skills (speaking, writing).

Benefits

  • Salary: 30, ,000 quarterly incentive 10% - 20% of base salary.
  • Bonus: Variable bonus 9-15% of annual salary.
